In this role you will be responsible for the logistics services of Koopman Car Terminal in Amsterdam. You are responsible for the processes within Operations. By implementing and executing of agreements made with customers and suppliers you guarantee lead time, quality and quantity. Costs are also high on your priority list. You do not do this alone, but together with a team of supervisors managed by you and further collaboration with subject specialists.

As a leader, you are responsible for promoting a responsible policy in which the important Koopman values are pursued. You conduct employee interviews and encourage the development of employees. In cooperation with the planning department, you ensure a clear alignment of the capacity and balance between permanent and flexible staffing.

In the role of Logistics Manager, you will contribute to the identification and implementation of operational improvements and business processes. You monitor KPIs and set up performance reports. You are well versed in logistics methodologies and follow with interest the developments in the field of automotive and logistics. Your People skills and decisiveness will help the organization and your team continue to grow. As Logistics Manager, you will directly manage supervisors and indirectly about 100 FTE. You will report directly to the Operations Manager Compounds.
