As International Planner at Boekestijn you are responsible for scheduling transport orders through (Eastern) Europe. With your knowledge and experience within the transportation industry, you will be an asset to the young, ambitious team of planners.

As an International Planner, you are able to deploy customer assignments as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible, with service being paramount. In many cases it involves valuable transportation for which proper security must be organized.
Do you like short lines of communication and clear communication? In this role, you will have close contact with customers, partners, drivers and colleagues in the Customs Department. In addition to compiling trip assignments and routes, you will be responsible for the administrative processing of any permits, trip authorizations and other documentation. In cooperation with your fellow planners you will give substance to the vision and strategy of Boekestijn and translate it into daily practice. In addition, you are a good sparring partner for clients and executives. You create support, notice opportunities in the market and know how to proactively turn them into new challenges. You have diesel in your blood and feel at home in a hectic, fast-growing organization.
As an International Planner, you will report directly to the Director of Operations.

Job requirements international Transportation Planner

• MBO++ or HBO education, preferably in logistics;
• Several years of work experience as a transportation planner, preferably international;
• Knowledge of transport documents, laws and regulations;
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages;
• French or German is a prè;
• Willing to work weekend and telephone shifts;
• independence and initiative;
• results-oriented and a great sense of responsibility.
