Workshop Manager

As Workshop Manager, you are the face of the modern workshop of MAN Nederland Dealer in Duiven. You are the point of contact for customers, importers, suppliers and, of course, your own team of skilled mechanics. 
Your team consists of 15 enthusiastic, driven mechanics and together you perform diagnostic and repair work. As a Workshop Manager, you will ensure optimal quality, efficiency and labor productivity in the workshop. With your technical and commercial acumen, you make decisions, monitor processes and make adjustments where necessary. In this challenging, multi-faceted role, you will also be responsible for handling warranty and goodwill claims.
You are communicative and strong in coming up with creative and innovative solutions. 
With your leadership skills, you know how to motivate, coach and manage your team. You will ensure a good atmosphere in the workshop and make sure the organization runs smoothly. In addition, you manage the timekeeping of mechanics. As a Workshop Manager, you will report directly to the Director. 

Job Requirements Workshop Manager

• A completed vocational MBO degree, preferably EBAT or Diagnosis Technician;
• managerial experience with technical knowledge;
• several years of experience as a diagnostic technician in the trucking industry is a plus;
• In possession of the certificates APK1, APK2 and (preferably) Tacho;
• flexibility, no 9-to-5 mentality;
• A large dose of enthusiasm and humor, with which you know how to motivate workplace employees.
