Manager Warehouse

You are the right hand of the management and ensure that the warehouse is perfectly organized. You are engaged in continuous improvement of logistics processes and efficiency in the warehouse. A position with a lot of responsibility in which you will face new challenges every day. Under your leadership, the team achieves on site optimal loading of all goods. About 5,000 packages a day. With an eye for personal development, you set clear goals, you are decisive and determined.  Coordination of crossdock activities and management of the team are central to this position. The team consists of about 40 employees and 4 foremen rotating in a 24/7 shift system. The peak in crossdockhectics is daily between 17:00h and 02:00h then you will be present on the shop floor as ultimately responsible for the process. You have customer satisfaction as your top priority and know how to oversee the big picture of the chain as well as adjust the details of each process component. Van den Haak is an advanced and contemporary transport company, purveyor to the royal household, a family business with a long lasting tradition. Personal, independent and extremely customer-oriented, Van den Haak is a partner of  the nationwide TransMission network.

• Relevant education at the college level.
• 5 to 10 years of leadership experience.
• Expert in warehouse design, KPIs and safety.
• Results-oriented, people-oriented, stress-resistant and innovative.
• Team player who knows how to get things done.
