YOUR ROLE

As Director of Operations & Supply Chain at Royal Lemkes, you will be responsible for all operations and logistics, nationally and internationally. Your insight and organizational talent ensure flawless just-in-time logistics from European production sites to corporate retailers. With an incisive cost-out approach, you optimize international supply chains; the hub in England is an important part of this. You will play a crucial role in optimizing business processes, increasing operational efficiency and encouraging development of the people in your teams, using forward-looking use of automation, robotization and IT. Within the executive team, you will actively contribute to organizational development and strategic policies. You realize a high-end organization with the most innovative, sustainable and resistant supply chain for Royal Lemkes’ suppliers and customers.

You will report to the CEO and work closely with the other members of the Executive Team.

You will provide leadership to Manager of Transportation and Logistics Resources and the Manager of Operations.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Education
  WO degree in business administration, logistics or supply chain supplemented by relevant training such as Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt)
• Expertise
  Minimum 10 years Work experience in supply chain optimization at preferably in European green- fresh- food- retail.  Experience with Operational Excellence, Lean Six Sigma.  Expert in digital transformation and the implementing technologies to operational efficiency at improve. Demonstrable experience
• Characteristics you recognize yourself in
