For this challenging role at Koopman Car Terminal (KCT) in the beautiful port of Amsterdam, we are looking for an analytical and process-oriented People manager who works in a connecting way and communicates transparently.
Do you have experience in managing complex logistical operations in a dynamic environment and do you maintain calmness and overview? Then we are looking for you!
What you will do
Together with your manager, you set goals, control budgets and are responsible for a good balance in capacity and atmosphere in your team.
You are fully aware of the process at the car terminal.
Being proactive and anticipating is a super important part of this.
You are inspiring and motivating and work closely with your people to -every day- go for 100% customer satisfaction.
You manage 2 supervisors and indirectly you are responsible for about 100 FTE. You maintain close contact with your internal and external relations and know how to get the maximum synergy benefits through clever combinations.

Our client Koopman Car Terminal (KCT) is a full-service car terminal in the port of Amsterdam offering various services to the automotive industry.
The terminal offers many advantages, such as connection to all modes of transport, global shipping connections through partners and a central location that is ideal for distribution to various European destinations.The terminal offers logistics services for importers, dealers, and lease and rental companies, with full integration and automation of processes.
In addition, Koopman provides remarketing of vehicles from rental or lease, delivering these cars to the customer in excellent condition.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of college working and thinking level;
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methods;
- Knowledge of the (international) automotive market is a plus;
- Good knowledge of the English and German languages;
- Living in the Amsterdam area
