What will you do?

As Service Manager at Van Dijk Trucks, you will manage a team of over 30 aftersales professionals. You are responsible for the daily operations in the workshop and the warehouse, but you are also focused on the future. This includes helping shape a new construction project, implementing Lean methodologies and optimizing processes.   You will also be the point of contact for customers and suppliers and maintain a good relationship with the Volvo and Renault Trucks importers.

 Your duties and responsibilities

• Coaching and inspiring your team to do their best.  
• Maintain strong customer relationships and provide solutions to technical issues.  
• Monitor, direct and improve after-sales processes and KPIs.  
• Managing and selling maintenance and repair contracts.  
• Thinking about and contributing to the new construction of a modern building.  
• Promoting good cooperation within the branch and with importers.
• Reporting to the branch manager.

 What do you bring?

• HBO working and thinking level, preferably with a technical background.  
• Experience in after sales and affinity with commercial vehicles and workshop processes.  
• Leadership qualities and a customer-focused mindset.  
• Strong communication skills and ability to build support.  
• A flexible attitude and hands-on mentality.
