About Nijman/Zeetank
Our client, Nijman/Zeetank, is an international logistics service provider with over 650 employees. They specialize in the transport and logistical handling of fuels, mineral oils, cryogenic gases, glass and intermodal transport of chemical liquids. With branches in the Netherlands, Poland, Germany and the United Kingdom, they offer reliable, safe and cost-efficient logistics solutions via road, rail, short-sea and inland waterway transport. In addition, Nijman/Zeetank provides internal logistics services within production companies and warehouses, including storage, handling and additional services, such as repackaging and composing mixed loads.
Your role
As Commercial Manager at Nijman/Zeetank you will be responsible for the sales of the chemical activities, nationally and internationally. Your leadership and commercial insight will ensure expansion and visibility as an ideal partner for the customer’s logistics challenge.
You will report to the Director of Spijkenisse and implement the plans you make with the management. You focus on maintaining customer relationships and increasing sales at new and existing customers. As a manager you have a motivating style and monitor progress on sales targets.
Your Profile
- Education and experience
Demonstrable HBO working and thinking level with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in sales in logistics and chemistry. Excellent command of English and German. Knowledge of French is an advantage. - Core values you recognize yourself in
