Declarant

Organizer. Process-oriented. Planned. As a Commercial Declarant at Van Kommer, you will be responsible for the Customs department. The Customs Department has been in existence for several months. Where previously all Customs related matters were outsourced, Van Kommer now offers a total solution in which Customs formalities are handled from its own expertise. For this role, we are looking for a proactive team player who loves challenges and will help develop the department. You are decisive, analytically strong and have experience in customs and transportation. You see opportunities, seize them but also know how to create new opportunities.

As a Declarant you will maintain contact with clients, transporters as well as shipping companies and terminals, among others. You handle the handling of customs procedures. You have the latest knowledge of laws and regulations and know how to apply these to practical situations. As Declarant you will report to the Operations Manager.

Job Requirements Declarant

• MBO or HBO working and thinking level;
• Knowledge of Customs/Im- and Exports;
• commercial institution;
• solution-oriented;
• analytical acumen and attention to detail;
• team player;
• excellent communication skills;
• A good command of the Dutch, German and English languages.
