Does truck engineering hold little to no secrets for you? Does a job as a fleet manager with a growing family business interest you? For Bos Logistics in Schiphol we are looking for candidates for this great position. In this independent position you will report directly to the general manager. You will be responsible for the total fleet, totaling about 150 tractor units. You will take care of daily maintenance planning and ensure the optimal deployment of the fleet. Repairs, maintenance and MOT inspections, it’s all part of your responsibilities. As well as its administrative handling. For this you will have the support of an administrative assistant. All additional administration will be part of your duties. This includes supplying all documentation for damages, identifying and reporting unreported damages. You will also record fuel usage in the systems and provide reports on this. You identify bottlenecks and provide concrete ideas for improvements. Continually improving the Total Cost of Ownership (tco) gives you satisfaction. You are the point of contact for everything related to fleet management. For colleagues and for collaborative partners such as maintenance companies.

- You have a college level of thinking and work. Preferably obtained through a relevant HBO, for example Automotive.
- You have gained experience in the trucking or transportation industry and have at least basic knowledge of trucks.
- You don’t think in problems but in solutions and you are focused on continuous improvement.
- You have good communication skills.
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages.
- You can work well with relevant software systems, preferably ultimo.

Employment
A good salary that depends heavily on your relevant experience. If you are a college graduate with several years of relevant experience, the salary is approximately €3,000 per month. If you already have much more experience and can make more of a difference for Bos Logistics then it can go up to about €5,000 per month.
