Logistics Manager

Are you a connector with organizational skills and natural leadership? We are looking for a candidate who can set the lines, coach people and take them through change processes. 
As logistics manager, you inventory, analyze and optimize all logistics processes within the organization. From procurement to deliveries, you implement smarter and more efficient processes and take logistics performance to the next level. You are an expert on process improvements and you apply techniques of Lean 5S. 
Daily you manage 2 logistics employees and 9 drivers, therefore the art of leadership is not foreign to you. You will bring structure to the whole process, organize meetings with the drivers and ensure optimal loading levels. As a measure of your success, you actively develop and monitor logistical and commercial KPIs. You share your advice and accountability for the KPIs as a member of the MT, so that your knowledge has a role in the organization’s policies.

Your duties will include:

– Managing projects new construction or remodeling of existing gas stations. 

– Fleet management (investments, maintenance, mileage registration, etc.)

– Various improvement projects

You will supervise a logistics assistant, a facilities assistant and 9 drivers. You ensure that employees are properly trained and certified regarding combustibles and safety.
 

You will bring structure to the whole process, organize meetings with the drivers and ensure optimal loading levels. As a measure of your success, you actively develop and monitor logistical and commercial KPIs. You share your advice and accountability for the KPIs as a member of the MT, so that your knowledge has a role in the organization’s policies.

Job Requirements Logistics Manager

• HBO Logistics and/or Business Administration
• Experience as a manager within a logistics company
• Knowledge of logistics processes
• Motivate, analyze, plan and organize
