Logistics Manager

Are you a connector and a natural leader? Do you have (logistics) organizational talent? For our client Houthandel van Gelder, we are looking for a Logistics Manager who sets out lines, brings people into this and takes the logistics operation to the next level. 
In this position, you will be responsible for implementing a new logistics system and improving the processes. You will think   and advise on setting up the new site. You get to work with people and bring out the best in them! 
You will be responsible for the entire logistics process within the organization. You will lead a transportation planner and the shipping team (12 FTE).
You will be working at a fast growing family business. The past few years have been full on online sales and this has resulted in exponential growth. The atmosphere is down-to-earth, hard work and looking out for each other. Short lines and quick decision-making.

Job Requirements Logistics Manager

• HBO working and thinking level in logistics/supply chain
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar, managerial position
• Knowledge and experience implementing a new ERP system
• Excellent communication skills
• Energy, proactive, organization-sensitive and organizational talent
• Natural leader, innovator and initiator

Houthandel van Gelder is a family business located in Hattemerbroek. Made big in selling lumber and building materials from the branch and through the online web shop. Customized products are made in the in-house workshop and then delivered to various customers B2C and B2B. It is a healthy, growing organization with respect for each other.
