Manager Crossdock

Decisive. Social. Flexible. For De Graaf Logistics, we are looking for an experienced Crossdock Manager. Together with the team leaders, you will lead a close-knit, hard-working team of approximately 30 permanent employees and approximately 20 flex workers. With over 3,000 shipments per day for various customers with various specific requirements you are able to both set the big picture and keep an eye on the details. 

The cross-dock operation involves a 24-hour process of unloading, checking, grouping, preparing and loading pallets, packages, odd sizes, ADR goods and packaged liquids. The identification and checking process is automated by scanning and reading barcodes. 

As Crossdock Manager, you will proactively contribute to the further development of clear processes and ensure that they are implemented and secured. With your natural leadership and enthusiastic personality, you coach team leaders and know how to bring everyone on your team with you. You are above the team, but also emphatically part of it. In your role, you will be supported by an Engineer and Process Improvement Manager. As Crossdock Manager reports to the Operations Director.
