Manager of Planning and Customer Service

Location: Staphorst - Management Timmerman transport

We are looking for a leader who will work with the team in planning and customer service to ensure a streamlined operational organization. About the position

In this role, you will work with the operations manager and be responsible for all operational activities in the planning and customer service departments. You create a proactive atmosphere in which you motivate the team of about 10 colleagues n to show initiative and work together towards the set goals. You are organizationally strong and have an eye for detail, allowing you to oversee and manage processes. You translate new ideas into concrete plans that are effectively implemented.

As Manager of Planning & Customer Service, you show compassion and understanding for your team. You include them in changes and make them feel involved in new developments. You have the ability to change gear quickly and think in terms of solutions, appropriate to the dynamic environment of the transport sector. With your decisiveness and perseverance, you take on challenges and ensure that goals are achieved. You have a positive mindset and contribute to the growth of both the team and the organization.

Job Requirements

  • HBO working and thinking level
  • Several years of experience in transportation services as an executive in a similar role
  • Overview keeping, connecting, team player with winner’s mentality
  • Communicative, professional, tactical and solution-oriented
  • Affinity with IT and Data
