For Sanders Fritom we are looking for an Operations Director to take the logistics operation to the next level. At Sanders Fritom everything revolves around commitment, reliability and a practical approach. Together with your teams, you ensure an optimal flow of goods and satisfied customers, every day!

 What will you do?

As Operations Director, you manage the entire logistics operation, from planning to cross-dock and from warehouse to drivers. You directly manage 7 people and indirectly 175 people. With your strategic insight and practical approach you ensure a smooth operation and the achievement of objectives. You set the lines, make decisions and are a visible and accessible leader. You master the operation, identify bottlenecks and improve processes. You think ahead, prepare the organization for challenges such as automation and zero emissions, and build a strong team in which everyone takes responsibility. You also maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and partners to take advantage of collaboration opportunities.

What do you bring?

Experience and education:

  • HBO+ working and thinking level, with at least 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position within logistics;
  • Practical leadership style: You are a natural leader, listening to your team and engaging people in change;
  • Analytical Ability: You can understand processes, solve problems and make improvements;
  • Engagement: You are approachable, have both feet on the ground and understand the value of teamwork;
  • Technical Understanding: Affinity with systems and interest in automation;
