OPERATIONS DIRECTOR (FULL-TIME)

The challenge:
As Operations Director at DFDS in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, you will make the difference. You will have a key position within the organization in which you will lead the operational management and set the strategic course together with the management team. Your mission? To optimize logistics processes, exceed customer expectations and take operational efficiency to the next level.

What will you do?

• You ensure that the logistics strategy is perfectly aligned with the business goals: efficiency, cost control and maximum customer satisfaction.
• You will analyze operational processes and implement improvements to save time and costs without compromising on quality.
• You coach and mentor executives to get the best out of their teams and achieve optimal performance.
• You will monitor and manage the operational budget and monitor KPIs to provide insight into results.
• You will be an indispensable part of the executive team and work closely with all departments to streamline processes.

What do you bring?

You are a natural leader, someone who inspires people and gives direction. You are analytically strong and can understand and optimize processes in detail. In addition, you possess:

• At least a completed college or university degree and experience in an international logistics environment.
• A proven track record in process optimization, team development and change projects.
• Guts, natural superiority and the ability to make and execute thoughtful decisions. Natural leadership.
• An empathetic and collaborative approach with a critical ability to stay sharp.
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both oral and written.
• Problem solving skills, pro activity and independence. Entrepreneur.
• You live within one hour travel distance from Nijmegen.
