Operations Manager
Location: Heerenveen — Slump On
Are you a connector with organizational skills and natural leadership? We are looking for a candidate who sets the lines, can coach a team and take them through change processes. As Operations Manager, you will inventory, analyze and optimize all logistics processes within the organization. From procurement to deliveries you implement smarter and more efficient processes and take logistics performance to the next level. You are a process improvement expert and apply techniques of Lean 5S.
You will supervise a logistics assistant, a facilities assistant and 9 drivers. You ensure that employees are properly trained and certified with respect to flammable materials and safety. When necessary, you will jump in on the planning yourself and also operationally manage the drivers. You are responsible for managing new construction/renovation projects, fleet (maintenance, outsourcing and purchase) and various improvement projects that you initiate yourself.
You will bring structure to the whole process, organize meetings with the drivers and ensure optimal loading levels. As a measure of your success, you actively develop and monitor logistical and commercial KPIs. You share your advice and accountability for the KPIs as a member of the MT, so that your knowledge gets a role in the organization’s policy. Would you like to help develop in a successful company? - HBO working and thinking level, direction Logistics and/or Business Administration;
- Leadership experience within a logistics company;
