Operations Manager Transport

As Operations Manager at Van Wieren International, you are responsible for the organization of transport. The more than 14 trucks transport frozen and fresh products to and from Italy. With your organizational talent, sense of responsibility and communication skills, you ensure an optimal process. You are the point of contact for customers, suppliers and drivers and ensure pleasant cooperation between the parties involved . You will create a schedule, monitor it and make adjustments as needed. Currently, the team consists of a full-time planner and an administrative assistant, with whom you will work intensively and make the decisions.
As Operations Manager, you will analyze and improve business processes, devise solutions and ensure that everything runs efficiently. You are a sparring partner for the owner of Van Wieren International and you are in daily contact about the decisions to be made. In your varied role, you have a lot of freedom of movement, but also the responsibility to grow the operation . You will report directly to the owner.
Job Requirements Operations Manager Transport
- HBO working and thinking level;
- At least 5 years of work experience in Transportation and Logistics;
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages;
- commercial, entrepreneurial, analytical and accurate;
- innovative and persevering;
- solution-oriented work.
