The Sales / Application Engineer is responsible for providing technical and commercial support to the sales team and dealers in the market. This is done by creating quotation drawings and preparing the corresponding quotations / order confirmations. In addition, you will support the fellow Application Engineers and the Product Specialists with regard to build concepts and elaborations. On behalf of sales, you make strength-weakness analyses of Hyva products relative to competing products and provide appropriate advice to this end. These analyses are made for truck-mounted cranes, container systems and valve systems, among others. By maintaining contacts with dealers, customers and suppliers, visiting trade fairs and keeping up with professional literature, you are always up to date with developments in the market. In short, a very varied and challenging job in an international organization with opportunities for advancement.

Job Requirements Sales / Application Engineer

• HBO working and thinking level (HTS mechanical engineering or similar education)
• Knowledge of trends in the trucking industry or products, both from Hyva and competitors
• Specific knowledge of the trucks, trailers and trailer
• Knowledge of various specific regulations regarding truck-mounted cranes, machine guidelines, RDW
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrics
• Knowledge of computerized systems (including MS office, Auto Cad LT, Inventor)
• Good knowledge of English and German language, both oral and written
• Effective presentation and communication skills
