Every day you solve the logistics puzzle with an optimistic attitude, you accelerate and shift gears where necessary. As a distribution planner you are responsible for the optimal deployment of material and people, a real controller with a strong personality. With an extensive fleet, drivers and a wide variety of customers, you know how to get by. You know the frameworks in terms of driving/rest periods and the Collective Labor Agreement for the Professional Transportation of Goods by Road. You are a linchpin in the organization, able to communicate well with drivers as well as customers and other departments. Using planning software, you plan distribution routes from Schiphol through the Netherlands, using your common logistical sense and excellent knowledge of the topography of the Netherlands. As a planner, you won’t make you anything about transportation and the driver’s world. You will be working in a family owned company with 75 own cars and an average of 20 charters, a well-secured warehouse and opportunities for different types of transportation. Work is done in different shifts, which are scheduled and rotated. Weekend shifts rotate once every four weeks and can be worked partially from home.

• MBO+/HBO work and thinking level;
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position;
• Very good topographical knowledge of the Benelux;
• Stress resistant with good focus in a dynamic work environment;
• Communication strong at all levels;
• smart doer, initiator, go-getter.
