Service Manager Trucks
Location: Veghel — Rüttchen
As Service Manager you are responsible for all After Sales activities within the branch (Trucks and to a lesser extent light commercial vehicles), consisting of workshop, warehouse / parts and workshop reception (total approx. 75 FTE). Based on a clear vision and clear communication, you inspire your team to achieve goals in the areas of Service, After Sales, profitability and customer satisfaction. As Service Manager, you will provide strategic level input to the overall policy of this Premium brand dealer. You manage the Service Desk (incl. Team Leader), the Warehouse Manager, as well as the Workshop Manager.

As Service Manager, you are ultimately responsible for all after sales activities within this large facility (75 FTE), consisting of workshop, warehouse and workshop reception. Based on a clear vision and clear communication, you inspire your team to achieve goals in the areas of Service, After Sales, Yield and Customer Satisfaction. As Service Manager, you will contribute to the overall policy at a strategic level. You will be responsible for the Aftersales operations concerning trucks and, to a lesser extent, light commercial vehicles. Shift work is involved, but you do not have to work in shifts (you can delegate).

– You recognize and take into account changing requirements, you can determine measures based on strategic and operational objectives and manage the service department accordingly.
– You pay attention to the utilization and staffing of the service department.
You will report to the branch director.
Job Requirements Service Manager Trucks
- Demonstrated HBO working and thinking level, obtained through relevant education or demonstrable experience
- Extensive managerial experience (at least 2 years, with demonstrable results)
- Leadership experience at a technical service location is a plus
- Well-developed business, commercial and- negotiation skills
- Inspiring and stimulating leader with persuasiveness (team builder)
- Excellent direct communication skills verbally and in writing
- Solid results-oriented mindset and practical attitude
- Solution-oriented, decisive and decisive
- Creative and stress resistant
- Able to distinguish main issues from side issues
- Networker and process thinker
- Both demonstrable Sales and Aftersales experience is a plus
- You live at no later than plm. 40 minutes travel time from the facility
