Transportation Manager

That is what we are looking for for our client DFDS Nijmegen, formerly HSF. A transport manager who stands firmly in his shoes. You prefer to take the positive approach and work from trust. You are verbally strong and know how to bring people along in decisions and changes. You communicate clearly and are transparent and have integrity in your decision-making. Of course, you are also ambitious and goal-oriented: you know how to go for results together.
In this role you will report to the operations manager. You will manage the pre-load planning, unaccompanied transport, import, export and France departments with some 20 men under your care. Departments are busy and currently understaffed, but with your stress-resistance, you keep a cool head. You know how to prioritize appropriately while not losing sight of KPIs.

- Relevant education at the college level
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role with a logistics service provider
- Knowledge and experience in conditioned logistics in Europe;
- Perseverance, decisive and collaborative;
- Affinity with TMS and ERP packages.
